If you’re in the same boat, then you’ll want to use Amazon Prime Day to grab items that keep your toddler entertained while you get things done around the house. Even better, items that cut down on your chore time so you can actually relax — or just, you know, breathe.
Toys Although your child doesn’t need a ton of toys, it’s worth investing in the few that can hold their attention while also sharpening their problem-solving skills and encouraging imaginative play. And given how jaw-dropping good Amazon Prime Day toy deals have been, you may want to snag those popular toys now. (Bonus: You can get ahead of Christmas gift shopping.)

Up to 50% off Melissa & Doug Up to 40% off LEGOS Up to 30% off Magna-Tile sets 20% off SEREED Balance Bike Vacuums I’ve been eyeing a robot vacuum for a while (I don’t want to risk waking my new baby to clean the floor) so I’m hoping this year’s Amazon Prime Day vacuum deals will be as impressive as those in the past. In 2024, for example, Bissell, Shark and Dyson offered up to 50% off some of their most popular (i.e. pricey) vacuum cleaners. I even recall seeing a few robot mops on sale, which sounds very tempting with a dog and toddler constantly bringing dirt into the house.
Kitchen Appliances Dinnertime a major source of stress? Same. And not just because Olivia goes through some very picky phases. Between chopping, waiting for ovens to heat up and cleaning everything afterwards, it just takes a lot of time. I’ve been upgrading my kitchen gear during past Prime Days and have saved a lot in the process. In 2023, for example, I saved 25% on a Cusinart air fryer that has cut down on cooking time for some of my go-to meals.
